don't sweater it

Sweater and embellished shorts, my latest favorite combination. There's a very big juxtaposition going on here; the ultimate casual hangout item, a hooded sweater, is paired with one of the most -should I say delicate- pieces, a pair of embellished shorts, that leaves beads and sequins all over the place, and needs to be handled with much care.

I've been switching between a pair of sequined shorts and this embellished one, as well as between two of the hooded sweaters that I own. I'm not much of a sweater person, so in order to step it up a bit there, I borrowed this sweater from my boyfriend's wardrobe. Its slogan reminds me of Edie Sedgwick's 'Poor little rich girl' film big time.
